Mission Trip Forms

Mission Trips

Mission trips offer unique physical, spiritual and emotional challenges and opportunities. If you are interested in participating on one of these journeys, application forms that outline particular requirements and expectations for each trip are available at the church office or by contacting Bede Campbell at 404.495.8428 or bcampbell@trinityatlanta.org. All are welcome to apply.

Trinity has been engaged in partnerships in Kenya for a number of years now. We have supported the seminary which has now become a University, we have built and funded a school in the village of Simurina, and we have financially supported missionaries, young adult volunteers and a student. Keeping these partnerships alive and flourishing requires that we go and be with our brothers and sisters in Kenya as often as we are able. Our hope is that 2011 is the time for the next trip. We would like to invite anyone who thinks they might like to be a part of this trip to nourish our partnerships to come to two events. First, on January 10, Nancy and Shelvis Smith-Mather, two young adult volunteers in mission whom we have supported during their time in Kenya, will join us at the Global Mission committee meeting. They will talk about what they have learned and share pictures from their time there. You are welcome to join the committee to hear from them from 6:30 – 7:30 on that evening. Second, we will have a meeting on January 27 at 7 pm in B108 to discuss the possibility of a summer trip – when, costs, plans, etc. If you think you might want to be a part, please plan to attend. And please contact Bede Campbell at bcampbell@trinityatlanta.org to let us know of your interest and your plans to attend either or both of these events.
