In I John 4:7 we hear these words:

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and every one who loves God is born of God and knows God.

Our theme for Commitment 2012 comes from the idea that "the only hands God has are our hands." To BE those hands and SHOW God's love, we are called to give abundantly, even extravagantly, of ourselves and our resources. We are called to be conscious and mindful about putting our hearts and hands to God's use. The message that Jesus conveyed, perhaps more than any other, is that showing love is our path to wholeness in life and in relationship with God.

Trinity Church historically has supported those in need both in our community and around the world. We also have vibrant programs within the church that nurture our hearts, minds, and spirits. Nearly all the work done by our church is funded by the pledges of our congregation, and, therefore, each pledge counts, regardless of size.

Your support of Trinity's campaign is vital to our church at a critical time in its life. Your gift is equally vital in each of our own lives, as we show our commitment to Trinity and its mission, both internal and external. It is through mindful, sacrificial giving that we are made whole, that we truly realize what it is to "DO LOVE."
