Collectors' Salon I

Gail and Clark Goodwin will share their very extensive collection of vintage and antique ethnic folk textiles. They were acquired during the couple's travels through many parts of the world. Gail describes it as comprising primarily of authentic, traditional pieces which were made for individual use, not for sale. Many of the pieces are dowry or funeral pieces or were made to be worn by babies or during festivals. Places of origin include India, Uzbekistan, Burma, Scandinavia, China, Indonesia, Africa, and North, Central, and South America.
