Journeys Through Revelation: Apocalyptic Hope for Today

The 2010-2011 Horizons Bible Study for Trinity Women’s Link circles will be “Journeys Through Revelation: Apocalyptic Hope for Today”, authored by Barbara R. Rossing. It explores the challenging and often misunderstood book of Revelation. Pursuing such themes as apocalypse, the role and person of Jesus in this journey, the call to awaken to the pressing issues of our own day, and our responsibility to be witnesses, we learn ultimately to trust in God’s deep love for us and all creation.


On Saturday, August 7, Trinity women and women from Greater Atlanta Presbytery are invited to attend a one-day workshop giving an overview of the Bible study series. In addition to this one-day workshop, a five-day workshop for the presbytery will be held at Trinity on July 26 through 30. Both workshops will be led by Rebecca Parker. Rebecca is ordained by the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is a graduate of Yale Divinity School. She teaches our Women’s Link Bible study leaders the first Monday of each month during the year.
