Trip Deposit and Refund Policy

Amounts for deposits will be set for each trip according to the cost of that trip. All trip deposits will be non-refundable.

Final payments from the Youth Ministry to the vendors for the trips are non-refundable and required well in advance of the trips. Consequently, the Youth Ministry will set a date by which all final payments are due. No refunds will be given after that date.

The refund policy appears on all trip forms, along with communications concerning registration for trip, the cost of the trip, deposit for the trip, and deadlines for payments.

For international trips, travel agencies will offer the option of trip insurance. The participant’s purchase of trip insurance will be strongly recommended to all who are involved in Youth Ministry trips and retreats. This preference is communicated on all publicity and forms applicable with a place for the participant to initial as an agreement that they have read and understand the Youth Ministry’s recommendation of the individual’s purchase of trip insurance.
