Trinity members have traveled to Lusaka, Zambia, several times to partner with the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian and the Mtendere Presbyterian Church and School to offer support and resources. Mtendere is well known in Lusaka for its day care center for the orphaned and vulnerable children, most of who are affected by HIV/AIDS. Trinity members have helped our Mtendere partners build their school and parts of the church structure, and assisted with providing children's education about proper hygiene to reduce disease and illness. Annually, we collect funds from our Alternative Christmas Market to help fund school lunches, teachers' salaries, medical supplies, and housing materials for the new school. We hope to continue our partnership with our Zambian brothers and sisters and look for new ways to support our relationship between our congregation and theirs.
