Youth Staff

Andrew Esqueda, Associate Pastor for Family Ministries

Andrew grew up in San Diego, California, and as a West Coast teenager, he enjoyed wrestling, baseball, soccer, and surfing. He received a B.A. in Religion with a minor in Biblical Languages in 2008 from Presbyterian-affiliated Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, where he met his wife Megan. Andrew and Megan have a two-year-old son named Isaiah. Andrew also has a master's degree in Theology and Religious Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. He comes to Trinity after serving for three years as the Director of High School Ministry at Roswell Presbyterian Church.


Grace Andrade, College Summer Intern

Grace will be a senior at Texas Christian University in the fall and studying education. She is returning after interning with us last summer! Grace was active in the youth ministry here at Trinity as a teenager. She loves corgis, hilarious videos, having pool parties with her baby cousins and singing "Cornerstone."


Avery Herman, College Summer Intern

Avery will be a sophomore at Duke University this fall and has also been active at Trinity since childhood. Avery is an avid sports fan, played soccer in high school, loves music and knows everything. 


Veronica Ridenhour, Administrative Assistant

Veronica has been working at Trinity for over 20 years! Currently she is the administrative assistant for the youth, children's and pastoral care ministries. Veronica has a bachelor's degree from Clayton State University. She loves watching old John Wayne movies and is a rabid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan! She also delivers Meals on Wheels every week.


Middle School Leaders

Caroline Brown

Caroline joined Trinity in February 2015 and was installed as an elder in 2017. She works for Parc Monceau Antiques in Buckhead. She grew up in Greensboro, NC at First Presbyterian Church and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2014. Caroline enjoys cheering on the dawgs and is also a foodie who loves to cook and try new restaurants.


Tricia DiResta

Tricia grew up in Trinity and became a member in 2004 through her Confirmation class. She graduated from Queens in 2011 and now works with Trinity Preschool and the after school program at Pace Academy. She became a youth leader in Fall 2016.


Jack Heberton

Jack grew up at Trinity and became a member in 9th grade through his Confirmation class. After terrorizing the youth group for seven years, Jack started as a youth leader in Fall 2010. He graduated from Georgia Tech and is an industrial engineer for UPS. Jack enjoys cycling, rock climbing and teaching acroyoga, both in a class and on a youth trip!


Elizabeth Scholz

Elizabeth came to Trinity in Fall 2016 and has been active with the young adult ministry before starting as a youth leader this fall. Elizabeth has a degree in Archaeology from William & Mary. She teaches 6th grade Social Studies and coaches the swim team at Holy Innocents Episcopal School.



High School Leaders

Caitlin Burniske

Caitlin grew up in Virginia Beach - down by the oceanfront is still her favorite vacation spot! After graduating from UGA in 2012 with a degree in Digital & Broadcast Journalism, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment television and served in guest relations with City Church. In March 2016, she felt the Lord calling her back to the East Coast and is happy to call Atlanta home! Caitlin now works in artificial intelligence software. She joined Trinity in February 2018 and is excited to be part of the Trinity family.


Catherine Ellis

Catherine came to Trinity as a seminary student seeking a church to support her through the ordination process. She graduated from Vanderbilt Divinity in spring 2017 and is serving as a chaplain resident at Northside Hospital. Catherine is active with the young adults at Trinity, has been a youth leader since Fall 2017 and was ordained in December 2017!


Lindsey Greene

Lindsey was welcomed to Trinity by Andrew, having grown up in his youth ministry at Roswell Pres. She graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2017 with a degree in psychology and moved to the Brookhaven area. She now works in finance and operations (who knew!) for an IT consulting company in Roswell. Lindsey loves live music, good conversation over Mexican food, and playing with her family's black lab, Murphy.


Glynis Holihan

Glynis has been a member at Trinity since 1996 and has served as a youth leader since Fall 2011. You may not know that Glynis is always dancing, or that she spent a year doing mission in Belfast, Northern Ireland in the '90s. You probably know her best as Shelby and Gigi's mom!


Jackson McCann

Jackson grew up in Athens, GA, Lexington, KY, and Macon, GA. He has been a youth leader since Fall 2013 and was ordained as an elder in 2016. Jackson graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Economics and International Affairs and works as a big data consultant for Coca-Cola.


Emily Swan

Emily grew up in Roswell, GA with her parents and younger sister Sally. After high school she took after her fathers alma mater and attended Kansas State University. There she majored in Political Communications and Leadership Studies. Following graduation she moved back to Georgia and started her post grad life at the Emory University Alumni Association. In January, she was introduced to Trinity through Andrew Esqueda and began leading in the youth group after attending the Winter Ski Trip. In her free time you can find Emily watching sitcoms, doing yoga and hanging out with her family and friends.
