GLOBAL MISSION

LA GONÂVE HAITI PARTNERS

Trinity is a member of the La Gonâve Haiti Partnership, a “ministry of presence” and a community development partnership between the people of La Gonâve, the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, and a group of Presbyterian, Episcopal, and independent churches in the U.S. Trinity has focused on St. Francois, the flagship school of the Episcopal church for the island of La Gonâve. St. Francois educates more than 450 children in grades PreK - 12 and is one of only a few secondary schools on the island. We also focus on healthcare, nutrition, agriculture, and sustainable energy in the island.

Upcoming Haiti Mission Trips: November 12 - 19, 2018; April 11 - 18, 2019; October 10 - 17, 2019

CUBA

For over twenty years Trinity has been in partnership with LaPlaya Presbyterian Church and the Theological Seminary in Matanzas, Cuba. Each winter a mission team journeys to Cuba to explore the Cuban context through four lenses: religion, culture, government, and education.  The Trinity mission team explores Havana, and then travels to Matanzas, continuing our work at LaPlaya and the Seminary.

The next Cuba Mission Trip will be February 26 - March 5, 2019. Deadline for signing up is November 30, 2018. Please contact Steven Darst at sedarst@gmail.com.
